History:

MEWASA is

1996	●	The Swiss Manufacturing Corporation is created.
	●	Founding three entreprenuers established the business to design, engineer & manufacture edge welded bellows and sub-assemblies, in a 1000 square foot facility.

1997	●	Obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification Click here (Certificate.pdf)

2000	●	Within four years internal company growth to 12 employees
	●	Commence in-house CNC fabrication completely.

2006	●	Corporate Engineering, Design and Administrative Functions all as one Business Entity.

2007	●	January 2007, Internal growth continues for expansion into larger facilities (1500m2) with a total of thirty six employees.

2008	●	February 2008, Established company owned United States Business Development and Sales Operations to expand the North American Market penetration.


			Manager- Process Engineering Group Reto Hüsler	Education- Degree in Technical Engineering Machining and Design Processes, Bachelors Degree in Business & Operations Management from Zentralschule für berufliche Weiterbildung (ZBW – St. Gallen, Switzerland). Before joining MEWASA in 2007, Mr. Hüsler was employed with ThyssenKrupp for over twelve years. His most recent position served as Project Manager for Global Manufacturing Production Division. Prior duties included Process Engineering Management for various global production facilities.


			Accounting Tamara Sax	Education and formal apprenticeship with Commercial Bank. Previous responsibilities included: General office work, accounting and marketing for 3 years. Sales and marketing assistant for media relations Continuing education in various computer software & computer graphic design courses


			Manager Sales Support / Quality Assurance Wolfgang Hagmann	Technical Education – Emphasis on Mechanical Engineering & Precision Machinery, Quality Control Management, Operating Specialist Previous responsibilities included: Apparatus assembly for 3 years, Quality Control andManangement for 8 years Currently Chief Responsibilities for Technical Support and Logistics of Diaphragm Bellows for over 9 years at MEWASA


			Manager, Sales and Marketing Markus Gantner	Education in precision mechanical, operating specialist. 5 years tool construction and 10 years job planning Technical support and logistics of diaphragm bellows for 8 years


			Chief Executive Officer Meinrad Gartmann	Education- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Graduate Degree in Business Economics from Fachschule University, Chur, Switzerland. Before joining MEWASA, Mr. Gartmann was employed with ThyssenKrupp for over nine years. His most recent position at Thyssen served as Department Manager for Global Project Management. Prior duties included Global Project Management and Key Suplier and Process Manufacturing Management.

Duties include full responsibilities for the overall technical mechanical engineering and plant processes of MEWASA’s production facilities. Mr. Hidber provides extensive manufacturing knowledge with an excess of 25 years actively in the production of edge welded diaphragm bellows.
